Rotary lobe pump for hygienic applications

Mono® NOV has launched a new range of hygienic rotary lobe pumps that has been developed to improve the process efficiency of food and beverage manufacturers.

The LunaT range of rotary lobe pumps is the latest addition to Mono's hygienic pump offering for food and beverage applications. It consists of high efficiency positive displacement pumps, which feature a modular and simple design which, Mono says, can minimize maintenance requirements and deliver longer life.

With maximum flow volumes up to 300m3/h, Mono claims its Luna lobe pumps can handle a wide range of viscosities. According to the company, the pumps compact size facilitates easy location within a plant and also enables them to be used as a mobile, trolley mounted pump. The pump is also suited to a variety of drive types, including variable speed via a mechanical, hydraulic or belt adjustable speed unit or inverter integrated into the motor.
