Hamilton Sundstrand acquires Marelli Pumps

Hamilton Sundstrand, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp, has acquired Marelli Pumps, a designer and manufacturer of heavy duty centrifugal pumps for the oil, petrochemical, chemical, industrial process, water and fire fighting industries.

Marelli, based in Illescas, Toledo, Spain, has approximately €30 million in annual sales and operates in Spain, Southern Europe and the Middle East. It will become part of Sundyne, one of Hamilton Sundstrand's three industrial companies.
