Pulse free pumping with easy backup

Northern Pump, a division of McNally Industries, has added a new pulse-free design to its industry leading line of gear pumps, the NPC Series. The pumps have a pulse-free flow for even coating and higher quality films, and predictable fluid delivery without the fluid slippage common in the average pump, even at low viscosities.

The system can be cleaned and be back up and running in minutes and it has a total overhaul capability in which as any part wears, it is possible to replace that part and not the entire pump, the company says.

It also has modularity whereby a 5 cc/rev pump can be easily converted to a 15 cc/rev pump and connection style and seal options are also available. The pump has chemical compatibility and a stainless steel and fluorochemical construction. The The NPC Series is currently available in two body sizes with capacities of 3 cc/revolution and 15 cc/revolution.
