New model in Cat Pumps triplex range

Cat Pumps has introduced the Model 6762 to its triplex range for desalination, featuring, the company says, a Duplex stainless steel head and valve assemblies providing added corrosion resistance, higher strength and extended life in the more aggressive seawater desalination and chemical injection applications.

The new 6762 pump features the same materials and uncomplicated design common to Cat Pumps' entire pump line. It incorporates the company's exclusive seal design and material blend combined with a concentric, solid ceramic plunger.

The Model 6762 also includes a corrosion resistant liquid-end coupled with a heavy-duty drive-end, making it extremely durable under the continuous-duty demands of applications like seawater desalination and chemical injection. Cat Pumps' triplex range deliver 90% overall efficiency, thereby reducing the energy consumption required to convert from seawater to fresh water or when performing on 24/7 duty cycle.
