Iwaki acquires Walchem in joint agreement

Iwaki Co Ltd of Japan has acquired US company Walchem Corp. The deal includes the majority ownership that Walchem has in Iwaki America. The new consolidated group will be called Iwaki America, Inc. and will operate from the existing premises, in Holliston, Massachusetts.

Iwaki America Inc will have two groups - Iwaki Pumps and Walchem Controllers. The existing sales, marketing, engineering and manufacturing organizations for Iwaki Pumps and Walchem Controllers will continue without
any changes, operating independently and reporting to CEO and president Ron Yates.
