2008 Hydraulic Institute annual meeting

Registration is now open for The Hydraulic Institute (HI)'s 2008 annual meeting, which will be held at the Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort in Florida, USA from February 21-26, 2008.

The meeting will feature thirty different technical sessions, a CEO and management track, pump educational sessions, a workshop on pump knowledge and two special presentations, including The Push for Energy Efficiency in Pumping Systems led by Doug Kaempf, the US Department of Energy's director of energy efficiency and renewable resources.

The meeting will also assemble technical committees to address industry standards, guidelines and electronic data exchange protocols and develop comprehensive standards and guidelines.

Registration is open to all HI members, associate members and Standards Partners as well as members of Europump.
