Amarinth appoints new Middle East agent
Centrifugal process pump specialist Amarinth has appointed Nama Development Enterprises as one of its agents in the Middle East. Based in Abu Dhabi, Nama serves the oil and gas, power and water and industrial sectors of the United Arab Emirates economy. Amarinth says that Nama will become a cornerstone in Amarinth's rapid expansion into the region's oil and gas industry. This new relationship has already yielded a high profile US$3.5M order for Amarinth, its largest to date, in which Amarinth will supply vertical sump pumps to be used to pump carcinogenic chemicals.
"We are delighted to announce our agreement with Nama and this US$3.5M order," said Oliver Brigginshaw, managing director of Amarinth. "This will become our first significant reference site in the region allowing future customers to understand our products and capabilities, particularly for these type of arduous conditions."
