Pressure transducer monitors pump pressure

Setra Systems Inc, a manufacturer and designer of pressure measurement instrumentation, has introduced the Model 231 Multi-Sense, a wet-to-wet, differential pressure transducer suitable for users who need to monitor control pump differential pressures and the flow measurement of gasses or liquids.

The Model 231 is offered in three versions, each with four unidirectional pressure ranges and 4 bidirectional pressure ranges. The MS1 has ranges from as low as ±5 psid up to 50 psid, MS2 from ±10 psid up to 100 psid, and MS3 from ±25 psid up to 250 psid.

All three versions feature the company's dual pressure sensor design, which incorporates thin film sensing technology for good thermal accuracy and signal linearity. Each unit has been temperature compensated to +32°F to +130°F with zero and span accurate to within 0.02% per degree F.
