Energy-efficient motors for Grundfos pumps

Grundfos' CR family of vertical multistage centrifugal pumps will become the first industrial pump family to have EFF1 energy efficient motors fitted as standard on all 1.10-45kW phase pumps, from 1st January, the company says.

As standard they cover flows of up to 120m3/hr and have a temperature range of -20oc to 120oc.

With the new EFF1 motor, the pumps will fully qualify for the UK government's ECA (Enhanced Capital Allowance) Scheme, will enables business end users to claim UK tax relief at 100% on current qualifying capital plant purchases, in year one.
