ERIKS creates UK sealing company
ERIKs has launched a new company, ERIKS Sealing Technology, with its Wyko established seals business in the UK.

Wyko’s mature seals business in the UK currently has a 4% UK market share but with the launch of ERIKS Sealing Technology it plans to have a 10% market share in 2010, which represents a turnover of around £25 million.

ERIKS has more than 50 years experience in the production and distribution of O-rings and elastomeric seals, as well as producing and distributing gaskets, rubber products, engineering plastics, valves and hoses. “ERIKS is a E900m company, and with over E160m in sealing technology product sales makes us one of the world’s leading sealing technology specialists,” Rick Treharne, MD of ERIKS Sealing Technology, told www.worldpumps.com. “By replicating ERIKS’ size, presence and positioning throughout the rest of Europe, ERIKS Sealing Technology UK can build on the proven successes and become the organisation customers come to first.”
