Kirloskar acquires water treatment company

Kirloskar Brothers Limited has acquired 100% equity share capital of Gondwana Engineers Private Limited for a total consideration of Rs 76.36 million.

Gondwana Engineers Private Limited (GEPL), which was established in 1982, specialises in water, sewage and effluent treatment plants and engages in the operation and maintenance of various treatment plants. GEPL will initially function with the same name and as a subsidiary company of Kirloskar.

The company expects that with the acquisition of GEPL, it can expand its activities in this related field and achieve synergies of business.
