Reliable centrifugal pumps from Sundyne

Sundyne Corp has developed the P-2500, a high-pressure centrifugal pump model designed for general industry applications in non-API services including washwater, injection, seal flush, reverse osmosis, pulp and paper, dust suppression and NOx suppression.

The Sundyne Sunflo P-2500 pump incorporates new features that improve the reliability of the Sunflo P-2000 product line, the company says. These include upgraded seal housing drain cavities, enhanced seal design, availability of numerous seal flush plans, labyrinth gearbox seal, and heavy duty bearings with more than 25,000 hours of L10 life.

The P-2500 pump has hydraulics with capacities to 180 gpm (41 m³/hr) and heads to 2,600 ft (792 m). It can also use common seal flush plans for increased seal reliability, such as the seal plan 11 with improved circulation around the process seal, and seal plan 13 with a return line through the gearbox to cool lubrication oil. Additionally, seal flush plans 14, 21, 31, 41, 23, 32, 62, and 54 are also available on the new P-2500.
