Re-designed range from PXPumps

PXPumps is launching its re-designed PX4 model range at WEFTEC, the water show that takes place in San Diego, USA , in October.

PX4 is the company's biggest pump and has been designed to a very high efficiency for motors 20-130 HP. The pump is suitable for pumping raw, unscreened wastewater from municipals, industries and larger draining utilities.

The re-designed PX4 model is equipped with an oil tip drain and the company's new patent pending PXTRA impeller - that reportedly combines the advantages from both a vortex and a channel impeller because when wear appears, the efficiency increases, the opposite to standard players on the market. The new design has a 100% non-clogging result in lab and on site facilities, PXPumps says.

As an option, PX4 can be ordered in a complete stainless steel version (AISI316) for pumping liquids from acid mines, draining utilities and alkaline liquids with a pH-range from 1-10 as the pump is not affected by the chemicals in the media. The capacity range for this new pump goes up to is 8000 US gpm. and up to 200 ft.
