Uzbekistan project for HMS

Hydromashservice company, a member of Russia-based Hydraulic Machines and Systems (HMS Group), has signed a contract with the Uzbekistan state company Suvsoz to reconstruct a water supply station near the city of Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Hydromashservice has also won a tendered contract to deliver type D centrifugal pumps to Uzbekistan. The pumps are produced by Nasosenergomash company, which is also a member of the HMS Group.

Under the terms of the contract, the company's specialists will carry out the dismantling of old pumps and the installation of new pump equipment. In addition to the installation of new pumps the Boz-Su water supply station will be equipped with automation and jet power compensation systems.

In 2006-2007 the HMS Group secured several contracts to reconstruct pump stations and deliver pump equipment for water supply systems of the largest cities and the agricultural grounds in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan for a total value of more than US$10 million.
