Portable foam fire-fighting units

A range of portable foam fire-fighting units from 5.5 to 18 HP, launched by CAT Pumps, can be used for mounting onto ATVs, pickup trucks or utility vehicles. These units, claims CAT Pumps, are lightweight and compact and thus provide the flexibility to get close and take control of brush and grass wildfires.

Each portable foam fire-fighting system features a custom foam gun that delivers a precise metered foam application with a high-pressure spray, stopping flames in their tracks.

The dependable, triplex high-pressure pump provides low water consumption and foam along with high pressure spray on demand for fast knockdown. Other features of the unit include a manual or electrical rewind hose with 85 or 150 ft high pressure hose and a rugged, heavy-duty pump and gas engine for ATV, pickup or truck mount.
