New pressure transmitter from PMC

Process Measurement & Controls, Inc (PMC) has developed the PT12 Series, a new flush mount transmitter designed to accurately measure pressure and level in processes where clogging of the diaphragm face is of particular concern. The small 1 inch diameter transmitter permits installation flush with the inside wall of pipes 2 inches in diameter and larger tanks for level measurement, helping eliminate any build-up of solids often encountered with conventional flange mount and recessed diaphragm type pressure transmitters.

The PT12 Series transmitter incorporates a high precision ceramic capacitive pressure sensor which is suitable for high wear applications. The process pressure is converted to a standard 2-wire, 4-20 mA output via either a polyurethane cable or micro DIN electrical connection.

The transmitter is offered as a fixed range transmitter in seven standard full scale gauge pressure ranges from 0 – 1 to 0 – 150 psi.
