Russian chemical pumps market growing 12% per year

The volume of the Russian market of chemical pumps in 2012 increased compared to the previous year by about 12%, according to the data of the Russian Federal Static Service.

Currently the volume of domestic production at the market estimated at 40%, say experts. The share of imports in the total market in 2012 was about 60 %. The main importers of chemical pumps to Russia are the U.S., China and Germany.

Also in the Russian market of chemical pumps the membrane (diaphragm) and horizontal chemical pump are two largest segments with the shares of about 50 % and 30 % in the total market structure, respectively.

According to experts of RB? analytical agency during 2013-15 Russian market of chemical pumps will continue to grow on average by 10-15 % per year. At the same time experts note that the growth will be particularly large in the horizontal and membrane (diaphragm) segments of chemical pumps market due to the widespread use and ease of use of these types of pumps.

The largest purchasers of Russian chemical pump are Ukraine with about 24 % of all export supplies and Colombia with a share of about 16%.
