This is the latest step in the integration of Maag and Automatik, following the merger of the two companies in 2010.
“Our customers naturally require quicker repair times and ways to optimize their financials, it was then only a logical step to combine the pump repair service with an existing rotor sharpening centre in Kuala Lumpur,” said Thomas Willemsen, director of After Sales at Maag. “With the available space and the technical infrastructure at our disposal, the Automatik workshop in Malaysia is a superb addition to our existing pump repair facilities in China, Europe and USA. Quality remains our focus, be it on the rotor repair side or the pump repair side. We highly believe that this move will help our customers by giving them an edge in their own competitive environment.”
“The first repair orders have already been completed with enthusiastic customer feedback,” said Seah Poh Siang, Maag Pump Systems’ Singapore branch manager.
