The CAST-X 4000 was designed specifically for high-throughput applications, such as those found at commercial chemical plants and processing facilities. Critical chemicals – such as those in the pharmaceutical, medical, food, and semiconductor fields – can now be processed at higher volumes while maintaining very pure conditions.
Available in several voltage, watt and circuitry configurations, they can be customized to fit almost any processing plant. For applications involving hazardous liquids, the CAST-X 4000 can be equipped with an explosion-resistant housing.
The CAST-X 4000 features dual 1-inch OD stainless steel, spiraled wound tubes (through which the liquid or gas flows), cast into an aluminium mass which also contains the heating elements. Delivering up to 60 kilowatts of power, these heaters support liquid flowrates up to 36 gallons per minute and gas pressures up to 2500 PSI. To accommodate extremely-high-pressure applications, the CAST-X 4000 is available with Inconel flow-path tubes: electro-polished tubes and passivated tubes are also available.
