Atlas Copco seals Varisco acquisition

Varisco’s pumps are typically used to remove unwanted water or other liquids in the construction, mining and oil and gas industries. They are also used in industrial process plants and for flood emergency services.

Based in Padua near Venice, Varisco had 2014 revenues of €30 million and employs about 135 people. The company was founded in 1932.

Varisco now becomes part of Atlas Copco’s Portable Energy division within the company’s Construction Technique business area.
