Features of the PumpEducator from Caprari include a 3D simulator which enables participants to practice virtual pump assembly, images, video-clips, voice-overs, multilingual material and the option of testing and tracking student activity.
Last year, Caprari organised 31 training sessions for 180 people totalling 1432 hours at its own training centre. Demonstration equipment allows specific operating conditions to be simulated. It also lets participants reach a high degree of competence through practical exercises relating to the running and maintenance of pumps and motors.
By the end of 2009, Caprari will have run more than 40 courses and this number is expected to rise to 50 during the next three years.
