AxFlow’s Brown Brothers Engineers has acquired SPX Flow Technology New Zealand Ltd, a sales and service organisation for brands including APV, Waukesha Cherry-Burrell, Bran+Luebbe and Lightnin.
The New Zealand company will now become Brown Brothers Engineers Flow Technology Ltd.
“AxFlow and SPX Flow Technology have been strategic partners for decades in the European market. Together we have developed a very strong position for brands such as Waukesha, APV, Bran+Luebbe, Lightnin and Plenty in food and beverage, chemical and petrochemical industries,” said Ole Weiner, CEO of AxFlow Holding AB. “This acquisition is in line with AxFlow’s strategy to grow outside Europe, with great potential to expand the SPX Flow products also into industrial segments in New Zealand.”
