Italy’s Interpump Group has bought Fluinox Procesos SL, a Spanish company that specialises in turnkey projects for liquid and solid processes.
Headquartered in Valencia, Fluinox designs, produces and installs components and systems for the cosmetic, food, pharmaceutical and chemical industry. Fluinox expects sales of €8.6 million and an EBITDA of approximately €1.5 million for the fiscal year 2018.
The agreed sale price was €9.49 million plus the net cash position which will be at least €1.66 million.
Interpump says that Fluinox’s expertise in the treatment of pastes and powders represents a perfect integration with the fluid handling skills and product range of its Inoxpa business. Inoxpa was acquired by Interpump in early 2017.
Fluinox founder Diego Casto Gómez Caballero will continue working with the company under Interpump ownership.
