drinktec 2017, which will be held from September 11-15 in Munich, Germany, is the world’s largest leading trade fair for the beverage and liquid food industry. Exhibiting in booth B3-218, Wilden will be featuring its Saniflo™ Hygienic™ Series (HS) AODD pumps. Designed to meet and exceed the international regulatory guidelines for food-and-beverage applications, Saniflo HS pumps feature a straight flow-through design which enables clean-in-place (CIP) capability, critical to hygienic-process success. These pumps also offer self-priming, dry run and deadhead capabilities, and are suitable for handling shear-sensitive products. Wilden will also have its Pure-Fuse diaphragms on display. They incorporate a one-piece design that eliminates product-trap areas between the outer piston and diaphragm that can harbour bacteria, a critical consideration for food-and-beverage applications. This patented design also provides an unbroken fluid-contact surface. Pure-Fuse combines food-grade plastics and elastomers with a stainless-steel core. In addition, by eliminating the outer piston, Pure-Fuse diaphragms experience greatly reduced abrasion, which results in longer diaphragm life.
