Denso will supply fuel pumps for Russian cars

Denso has signed an agreement for the supplying of fuel pumps that will be using by the Russian carmaker AvtoVAZ for the production of the number of model of cars, according to the report of the company.

The agreement provides the supplying of the submersible pump types of the model DFP- 0105 for the production of cars under the brands Lada 110, Lada Samara, Lada Kalina and Lada Priora.

According to the report the use of the new pumps will significantly improve the work of the engines in the new cars. In particular technology of turbine pump with V-shaped impeller provides a minimum fuel flow pulsation, and low level of noise. According to the agreement, in total 7 types of fuel pumps are suitable for applications for 182 options for 8.5 million vehicles.

Lada cars are among the most popular in Russian and the CIS automotive market in the segment of low cost cars. In recent years, AvtoVAZ has been actively looking for opportunities to improve the work of its models through the use of new technologies, including foreign ones.
