The course will take place from 7 – 9 March 2017 at the National Metalforming Centre in West Bromwich in the West Midlands. It will also help companies comply with the requirements of current legislation regarding the use of non-electrical employees for minor electrical tasks.

It is primarily aimed at mechanical or un-skilled tradespersons that are preparing themselves for work upon electrical systems. The course may be of great benefit to companies that intend to employ non-electrical personnel to perform routine electrical duties, such as, lamp replacement or portable appliance testing.

Topics covered include Health and Safety legislation, related to electricity in the workplace, basic electrical principles, safe isolation of electrical circuits, conventional circuit layout and

cable and wiring systems

The cost is £495.00+ VAT per person, which includes lunch, refreshments and City & Guilds certificate. There are only 12 places available so early booking is advisable.
