The British Pump Manufacturers' Association (BPMA) will soon be publishing its 2018/19 Buyers’ Guide & Directory, which contains important pump sector news, along with updates from both the BPMA and its 80-strong membership.

It will be distributed free of charge to the BPMA’s full database and copies will be sent to embassies and consulates around the world.  This year will see an additional distribution to pump users via selected trade press, ensuring that even more people are aware of the BPMA, its members and the important work it carries out on their behalf.

Established in 1941, the BPMA is a ‘not for profit’ trade association representing the interests of UK and Irish suppliers of liquid pumps and pumping equipment. BPMA members account for approximately 85% of the £1 billion-plus UK market for pumps.

It remit is to influence the pump sector business environment in the interests of members' competitiveness and sustainability and to increase sector awareness by providing technical support and pump technology training to members, operators and purchasers of pumping equipment.

Membership of the BPMA is open to any company large, medium or small, involved in liquid pumping equipment, including key suppliers. The BPMA itself is a member of the European Association of Pump Manufacturers (Europump).
