This reduces deviations in the transmission of torque and power. The design reduces body resonance during operation while suppressing any arising noises. Torque is transmitted in a fail-safe, positive engagement.

The convex profiled spider consists of a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer and is exclusively pressure loaded. It aims to absorb any radial and angular misalignment of the two connected shafts.
