The Expulse is a flexible inline dampener built to settle restless pipes, pressure peaks and uneven flows often experienced while using positive displacement pumps.

The design is based on a double hose structure with an expansive inner hose, reinforced outer hose and compressed air in between the two. Flowrox says it can absorb up to 90% of pulsations while providing energy savings by reducing vibrations.

It can also compensate for possible misalignments of the pipeline and provides a flexible connection to the pump. The dampener also reduces the hammering of the pipeline and pump enabling increased pump bearing and gearbox lifetime.

The Expulse is self-cleaning and does not collect sediment or particles.
