Armstrong’s Rising Stars program encourages employees worldwide to submit videos of themselves showcasing their various talents – singing, dancing, juggling, etc. Every video submitted will be sponsored by donors and special fund raising events and all contributions will be donated to WaterAid.
“We believe our “Rising Stars” program is a great way to raise money for a very worthwhile cause while recognizing our employees for their unique talents and allowing them to get their colleagues and communities involved in the fund raising effort,” said Lex van der Weerd, Armstrong CEO. “As a fluid technology company, we support the mission to provide clean drinking water to all people.”
Donations will be raised through kick-off events at each Armstrong location and by supporting those employees who submit videos. Each country has determined the minimum level of funds to be raised for each video submission. Employees can also choose to raise additional funds through their own efforts.
All videos submitted will be posted on Armstrong’s website and voted on by employees. The top three videos will receive prizes and a draw will be held for an additional prize among non-winning entries. There will also be a prize for the employee who raised the most donations for WaterAid.
