Grundfos names new head of quality

Daudon, 52, comes to Grundfos from automotive equipment company Faurecia, where he was vice president, Group Industrial Strategy and Manufacturing Engineering. He brings more than 20 years of industrial experience to Grundfos, mainly from the automotive sector. He has extensive knowledge of quality steering systems, of defining quality strategies and deploying standardized solutions to ensure a high global level of quality and operational performance.

“Jean-Luc has a proven record and knowledge of quality management systems, profound operational and leadership excellence, and not least, experience from industrial strategy and manufacturing engineering. I am confident that he will enhance Grundfos’s ability to meet the needs of our customers, strengthen our product development and operations excellence, and increase our quality performance through the value chain towards zero defect,” said Stéphane Simonetta, Grundfos group executive vice president and chief operating officer.

“After a good induction to the company, I am genuinely looking forward to this great challenge and responsibility. It will be a privilege for me to combine my many years of working experience with the ambitious goals for the group,” said Daudon.

Daudon will be based at Grundfos headquarters in Bjerringbro, Denmark.
