The Wilo-Star-Z NOVA circulation pump has an energy-efficient synchronous motor and compared to older circulation pumps, the Wilo-Star-Z NOVA requires up to 80% less power, i.e. only 2 to 4.5 Watt. This also reduces the operating temperature of the motor and thus of the entire pump. The motor is also compatible with all commercially available pump types, so that an existing circulation pump can quickly and easily be replaced.
The Wilo-Star-Z NOVA can be applied at water hardnesses of up to 20° Grad deutscher Wasserhärte (a German measurement of water hardness).
