WILO merges two German subsidiaries

Hof-based WILO EMU
Hof-based WILO EMU

Minden-based WILO EMUPORT and Hof-based WILO EMU had been managed as subsidiaries up until now.

WILO says the merger will allow the company to participate in the increasingly complex international project business in an optimum way.

Oliver Hermes, chairman of the WILO executive board, said: “For a few years already, there has been a harmonisation of all business processes of the two subsidiaries with those of WILO SE. The merger is now a logical step in order to further fulfil the requirements of the market and the demands of our customers for even more transparent and simple business processes.”

WILO SE specialises in pumps and pump systems for heating, air-conditioning and cooling technology, for water supply as well as for sewage treatment and disposal. WILO currently employs around 6000 people worldwide and had a turnover of €926 million in 2009.
