Forming part of an order placed by its distributor HEMS Engineering, the pumpset is the first of an order for eight that Pioneer Pump will deliver to SASOL, the South African national oil company based in Mpumalanga.
Gavin Caldwell, Pioneer Pump’s regional sales manager for the Mpumulanga region, said: “This was our first major order since opening the factory in September and we are delighted to have built the pumpset for such a prestiguous customer like SASOL. HEMS has been working with Pioneer since 2005 and through them we have fine tuned the designs to meet South African mining specifications which enables us to export all over Africa with the confidence that our pumpsets will be the most robust and highest performing on the market.”
