Located in the Guangxi Province in Southern China, the Guangxi project will refine imported high sulphur crude oil.
Sulzer Pumps will supply 12 pumps for the residue hydrodesulfurization unit, 18 pumps for the diesel oil hydrotreating unit and 10 pumps for the oil storage and transportation and utility units.
The Sulzer Pumps facilities in Suzhou and Dalian, China will produce 34 of the pumps. The six remaining pumps will be manufactured in Bruchsal, Germany and packaged in Suzhou.
Guangxi Oil Refinery Project Phase II is scheduled for operation in October 2013.
