JC Carter produces cryogenic submerged motor pumps, which are used mainly in liquid natural gas regasification and liquefaction plants, and natural gas liquid processing.
Headquartered in California, USA, JC Carter has 70 employees and annual revenues of approximately US$25 million.
“The acquisition will extend Atlas Copco’s offering to customers in liquid natural applications as well as to the chemical and petrochemical industries,” said Stephan Kuhn, president of Atlas Copco Compressor Technique.
The acquired pump business will become part of Atlas Copco’s Gas and Process Division.
