According to provisional figures, KSB saw sales revenues increase 7.2% in 2011 to €2079.1 million with growth in pumps, valves and service. All four sales regions also saw growth.
At €2132.3 million, KSB order intake was up 2.8% on the previous year.
KSB says that while it enjoyed good growth in its general business with standard pumps and valves, the project business was held back by a lack of major new-build facilities.
The pump and valve company expects 2011 earnings before income taxes to be lower than 2010’s €135.8 million.
