Rain for Rent forms partnership with Omni Water Solutions

The two companies will act as one team during pressure pumping operations to help oil and gas operators minimize the use and cost of freshwater resources and reduce the complexities of local wastewater disposal and onsite trucking.

Headquartered in Bakersfield, California, Rain for Rent has more than 60 branches across North America offering pumps, pipe tanks and filtration systems. The company provides temporary storage and water transfer solutions for oil and gas customers through full installation, day-to-day management and tear-down services.

Austin, Texas-based Omni Water Solutions provides water treatment technology and services for oilfield operators. Products include the STINGRAY line of chlorine dioxide treatment units to provide bacteria control during pressure pumping for oil and gas operators; the HIPPO systems for brackish, or produced water; and RHINO systems for off-grid drinking water.

“We look forward to providing a new liquid management solution for our oil and gas customers to help minimize the use and cost of water. The Rain for Rent – Omni Solutions partnership is a natural fit because of our collective goals of solving the customers’ water handling needs by providing industry leading customer service,” said Mark Lasswell, CEO of Rain for Rent.

“The Omni and Rain for Rent partnership provides customers with extensive experience in transferring storing and treating millions of barrels of water in the oilfield – which will save customers time and money,” said Warren Sumner, CEO of Omni Water Solutions.
