Fibria is building a second production line in the Três Lagoas Unit in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul which is scheduled for startup in late 2017.
The Sulzer pump package will include AHLSTAR process pumps, MBN multistage pumps and the latest generation of Sulzer MCE medium consistency pumps.
Sulzer will manufacture, test, package and supervise the installation of the centrifugal pumps.
The new production line, with an annual capacity of 1.75 million tons, will increase the capacity of Fibria’s existing Três Lagoas mill to 3.05 million tons of pulp per year.
