The ball valve from Emerson Process Management features a transitional flow contour which increases in flow area from inlet to outlet and is designed for installation directly to a medium consistency pump discharge flange. The expanded outlet will accommodate larger diameter transfer lines.

The valve is made of a single piece body design that has no gasket joints which eliminates potential leak paths. The aegmented V-notch ball as the control element which has a natural shearing action good for pulp stock or slurry flows. It also provides rangeability and an unobstructed flow passage.
