Alfa Laval wins Indian pump order

Alfa Laval has secured a SEK65 million order for heat exchangers, pumps and tank cleaning equipment to be used in the production of a health drink in India.

The Alfa Laval heat exchangers, pumps and tank cleaning equipment will be used in the production of a malted milk hot drink. This is Alfa Laval’s second order for the plant. Delivery is scheduled for 2010 and 2011.

“We have a leading position on the growing food market in India – a growth driven by improved living standard and thereby the increasing need for processed food,” said Lars Renström, president and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group.
