The Colfax pump order mainly covers three-screw rotary positive displacement pumps, which will be used for handling fluids such as fuel, lubricating oil and bilge water. Twenty pumps will be installed in each of three air-warfare destroyers.

Colfax's in-country navy agent,
Australian Pump Industries Pty Ltd, which will work with the shipyard during the installation of the pumps and after the ships launch to provide spare parts, overhauls and maintenance.
