A number of KSB's sewage submersible pumps and mixers were used to fulfil this objective.

A natural rubber-based, self-lubricating bearing material was suggested as a replacement. The outcome was a five year period without any performance problems and an estimated saving of approximately US$60,000.

Metso to supply pumps to Nordic Mines in Finland

Metso Corp will provide mining and minerals processing equipment, including pumps, and services for the new Nordic Mines Oy gold ore processing plant in Finland.

The €30 million order that Metso has received includes a mill, pumps, flotation equipment, crushers and screens. The contract also includes steel structures, piping and a plant electrical, instrumentation and automation package as well as related supervision, start-up and commissioning services.

Metso should complete equipment delivery during the first half of 2011.
