A brief history of pumps
Ten years ago, World Pumps put together a brief history of the pump industry telling the story of pump development since the Egyptians invented the ‘shadoof’ in 200BC. We stopped then at 1999, but here we bring the story right up to date with some of the main industry events of recent times.

Flexibility with low viscosity products
The manufacture of medicines and creams has its own set of correct production methods and requires a gentle, low shear product handling capability of the pumps used. The installation of the MasoSine pumps at a UK pharmaceutical company contributed towards extensive increases in throughput over the course of the following five years.

Roto Pumps to open Singapore subsidiary

The Roto Pumps board of directors has recently approved the plan for the Singapore subsidiary company.

Roto Pumps specialises in progressive cavity pumps and twin screw pumps.
