Hayward Tyler Group receives pump order

Babcock & Wilcox (B&W) Beijing Co. has ordered two boiler circulation pumps for delivery to CIF Beijing in Tianjinxin Port, China.

The order for Hayward Tyler’s 520 kW glandless motor pumps will be used on two 600 MW supercritical once-through (ASOT) boilers. After market support is provided through Hayward Tyler’s local service facility in Kunshan, near Shanghai.

Mark Wood, group commercial director at Hayward Tyler, said: “We are naturally delighted to have secured this order from B&W Beijing. This brings the total of Hayward Tyler pumps sold to China to 468 including 33 that have been re-exported. As the leading supplier of pumps in the region we continue to work with industry leaders to strive for cleaner energy provisions.”
