Mono rotary lobe pump for hygienic applications

24 February 2009

Mono NOV has launched a new range of hygienic rotary lobe pumps that has been developed to improve the process efficiency of food and beverage manufacturers.

The LunaT range of rotary lobe pumps feature a modular and simple design which, Mono says, can minimize maintenance requirements and deliver longer life.

With maximum flow volumes up to 300m3/h, Mono claims its Luna lobe pumps can handle a wide range of viscosities. According to the company, the pumps’ compact size facilitates easy location within a plant and also enables them to be used as a mobile, trolley mounted pump. The pump is also suited to a variety of drive types, including variable speed via a mechanical, hydraulic or belt adjustable speed unit or inverter integrated into the motor.
