Flowserve concrete volute pumps for Dallas flood control

Flowserve Corp has won a US$7.5 million order for a flood control pumping project in Dallas, Texas.

The Flowserve order, which was received from Bar Construction of Dallas, includes concrete volute pumps, motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs) and associated equipment, as well as a spare motor and VFD.

“We are very proud to have been awarded this project for Dallas, especially since our corporate headquarters is located in this area,” said Tom Ferguson, president, Flowserve Flow Solutions Group. “We are excited about helping to improve flood control for the city of Dallas and are confident this will be a standard for other flood control projects in the US.”
