Northern Ireland partner for ABB

24 February 2009

ABB has appointed Northern Irish motor specialist JJ Loughran as ABB's motor service partner for Northern Ireland.

Established in 1970, JJ Loughran has built a reputation as a market leader in the repair and supply of electric motors and drives throughout Ireland. The company can dimension, specify and install the correct motor for any application, as well as provide repairs, preventive maintenance, full thermal imaging service, motor management advice and energy audits.

“In a climate of ever increasing energy costs, the industry has become more aware of the importance of energy efficiency and with a typical fully loaded electric motor consuming the same electricity costs within the first month of operation as its purchase price, an ABB energy efficient motor can save the customer a substantial amount each year,” said MD John Loughran.
