The application can be installed on an iPad or an iPhone, for example, and can, based on the owner’s location, give a complete list of the nearest Grundfos product distributor, inclusive of company name, address, telephone number, e-mail, website, and even an itinerary.
The new application is aimed at installers who work with Grundfos products every day, but it can also be used by project employees, for example, who are working with installations abroad.
“The application is accessible at no cost from 10 September 2010. So far USA, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Spain can be covered by the application, but we aim at extending coverage to apply for all
Grundfos companies and distributors all over the world,” said Kim Klastrup, Grundfos director of corporate brand development.
