SPX Process Equipment  (SPX PE) says that the creation of a single sales team will provide SPX PE with a highly focused national capability for all its pump brands and services. The single sales team will be lead by Peter Robinson. The existing internal sales teams will remain at Brixworth (B+L), Crawley (JP) and Glasgow (PMP).

 

According to SPX PE, combining the technical resources of the B+L, PMP and JP pump businesses will give the company more effective and efficient coverage. For its customers, a single sales team will offer speedier access to all the company’s varied pump ranges and technical support services. The range of pump types available includes metering/dosing, internal gear, air operated diaphragm, rotary lobe, centrifugal, rotary, screw and vane pumps.

 

Announcing the development, SPX PE UK sales director Chris Riseley reported that there were significant synergies already existing between the three sales forces, not least in their common industry sector and markets. The situation is similar in Germany, where the same sales strategy is being adopted.
